Useful idiots part mmxxcccix - Human Shields

Tim Blair has a question for a Westerner heading for Iraq to sign up for the Saddam Hussein Human Shield Brigade. To paraphrase Tim: Where were you on September 11th, 2001?

I wonder if we could get them to carry transponders so we could be sure not to miss them?

hm, where was I on that day?
At home, watching mostly SAUDI highjackers kill American citizens.
I don't recall any of them being Iraqi.

Tim Blair's line about him not being a shield for anything unless he's made of kevlar is a classic. This isn't disscent, it's treason. It's clear that this guy parted company with sanity a while back, he must've hopped the fence after lights out at the Home for the Essentialy Stupid.

If this guy really is a vet, a big if considering his crediblity on his other statements, he should have a little tiny teensy inkling of what fragments from the blast of a 2000 pounder will do to his squishy pink form. Sorry, I have to pause and smile here,....bet it'll be a closed ashtray funeral. But imagine the look of surprise he'll have when he realizes (too late) that we consider him sitting on the target a plus.

Sylvain'

You need to work on your comments section a bit, it takes forever, and only loaded about half the time.

I was at home holding my daughter on the morning of 9/11. If you knew Saudi's were involved at that moment, I bet you think you can levitate too. The whole of the middle east is one big crooked game, so we're going to do what America does, kick over the table and take names. If you think Iraq won't be better off in five years,...well, then that says a lot about your distaste for democracy over dictaters.
