French carrier rushes home before shooting starts

The French aircraft Carrier Charles DeGualle is heading for its home port in Toulon, after spending a little quality time in the Mediterranean sea.

"Our sailors are rested, tanned, and now we must get home before the shooting starts. The Charles deGualle, she could possibly get damaged if allowed to get too near any of the splodeybits" explained Lieutenant Commander Bertrand Bonneau, spokesman for the Charles deGualle battle group.

They were nothing more than a missile magnet. Guess they don't want the Iraqi's to return the Exocets they bought from them. That would be irony too grim if they ate some of the munitions they sell like peanuts.

Besides, they actively spy on US fleet movements anyway. If we find any French Fleet reports sitting on a desk in Iraq, they should start building shelters. Cause their nuts are going to be ours.
