One wonders what data Martin Sheen uses to support this declarative statement: that UN inspections will solve the Iraqi problem, while war won't. It would certainly go a long way towards convincing me of this fact if he would just point me to a single instance where inspections and appeasement have worked, ever.
Notice how Farrell invokes the "vast right wing conspiracy" as a reason why anti-war messages aren't really resonating with the country right now. It probably never enters his mind that people just don't agree with him. I mean, he played a drunken MASH surgeon in a hit TV show, so how dare we doubt the veracity of his proclamations.
Maybe Butt Sucking Appeasement Weasel can be applied to actors as well as French diplomats.

Posted by: Neal on February 20, 2003 05:41 PMFarrel isn't new to this, like Sheen he's had a long record of loony left protests against US policy. Strangely silent during the Clinton years though.
Trapper John was funnier, and less annoying.

This is what I meant when I said that putting a VRWC logo on a Rumsfeldian 1911 would be the funniest part.
