If you didn't stop by the Emperor Misha's place yesterday you missed something spectacular. He liked to a post by the Israpundit that has some very interesting thoughts and ideas in it.
They may be actually more that thoughts and ideas, but just go take a look.
Posted by AnalogKid at July 25, 2003 11:25 AM | TrackBackIt was an interesting post, but I'm not buying it yet. Especially the line about allowing "King Hussein" of Jordan (I assume that's actually supposed to say King Abdullah, unless they're into animating corpses over there) to rule Iraq. After all that the US has said and done to bring true democracy to the Iraqi people, allowing another dictator to take over, no matter how nice he is to US diplomats, would be a large error in judgement - and a slap in the face to the Iraqi people.

"The Saudis are the biggest backers of terrorism in the world and the US knows it. Many influential people are in bed with the Saudis starting with Bush Sr."
don't skip over that bit, we all know it's true.
And we all know the Saudis are NOT our "friends" despite what Junior keeps telling us.
In fact, I would argue that saying so is an outright LIE.
Sometimes, beastie, you need to keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Posted by: analog kid on July 26, 2003 01:54 AMWhile I believe it's plausible that Israel was envolved behind the scenes, I doubt some big chunks of what his source says. His insisting that the Israeli's really did attack the USS Liberty on purpose even after the release of the classified intercepts clearing them of that charge cause me to take this with a huge grain of salt.
