On what you think the meaning of the word "is", is.
So, if you're "less than truthful", doesn't that make you a liar? I seem to remember some military personnel getting in trouble for criticizing Clinton, back in the day.
Posted by Neal (Nukevet) at November 13, 2003 05:44 PM | TrackBackYou seem to forget --
Clinton didn't lie and get people killed. Bush, however, not only has gotten people killed, but he's racked up so much debt over his farce of a war (corporate handout war?) that one has to wonder why he gives shit to Iraq but doesn't invest money in his own country.
Butr this isn't a Clinton vs. Bush issue. If you want to get on the Seargent, you may very well have a case -- you look at pro-sports and having players talk down about their manager or about the refs will get them fined or worse... This woman was correct in her liar assessmant, the problem is she wasn't a civilian, who under the first ammendment should have every right to speak those words...
She did state an unflattering fact of Bush - why would Karl Rove or the rest of the Right let her get away with it?

WMD's? Go read the Kay report. Don't just stop at the headlines.
Corporate handout war? So the fact that the Haliburton boys having that contract for more than a decade escapes your thought patterns, I guess.
As for the investments of GWB, with the flak he is catching over his dealings with corporation in the past, can you blame him for going offshore?
I think that it is you who is swallowing the lies. Because they are convenient for your mindset. Stop the hate, Tony.

"Welcome to DEANfilter.com!

Haven't a prediliction to swallow leftwing horseshit do you?
Dean's an idiot, with a temper and no idea how foriegn policy should be run. Like every other candidate in your party, maybe when his testicles finally drop, we might get an inkling of a bright idea from them. Till then, I suggest less hot air and a little more respect for hard decisions.
You know, the ones Clinton ducked for eight friggin years?
Actually, Clinton got about 3,000 Americans killed on September 11th, 2001. By pursuing an ineffectual and almost laughable policy of "pseudo-aggression" against terrorists.
But, I wasn't trying to make it a "Clinton vs Bush" issue - or any other issue at all - I was just pointing out how someone on active military duty was in trouble for criticizing the CiC (and it's a little bit worse than talking bad about your boss is civilian life - like code of military conduct bad). Actually, the only funny part is that they try to defend he words by saying that she was misquoted by an "ultra-conservative" site, and that she is just a poor little victim of the VRWC.
And we certainly wouldn't want someone with a preconceived ideology to be planting propaganda on the internet. Right, Tony?
