The Dixie Chicks have every right to express their opinion, just as I have every right to judge their expression. I will not pay for the rope to hang me, nor will I spend money with an enemy of my country.
Ciao, Chicks
Posted by Gene 6-Pack at March 15, 2003 12:48 PMWhat a shameful waste, they really did have talent. But if they are that out of step with their fans, if not this, then something else would have been the cause. So I excersise my first amendment rights to not purchase anymore of their work.
Have fun in Europe girls, the hangovers gonna suck.
Posted by puggs at March 15, 2003 01:35 PMAll I know is, Rachel Lucas is headin' down to the shootin' range with her Dixie Chicks CD's.
Posted by Loyal Citizen Victor at March 15, 2003 02:46 PMdidn't care then, don't care now.
The opinions of celebrities are of no concern to me.
I am currently in the navy, and a proud Texan. I will never buy another CD and I am ashamed that they are from Texas.
Posted by Greg at March 23, 2003 08:27 AMI do agree with the freedom of speech but you have to know when to shut your mouth! I will not buy or listen to any song of theirs. A proud Texan and proud of Bush. God bless America!
