Anti-DUI Program Worker Arrested For Drunken Driving

The coordinator for the Tacoma/Pierce County DUI Task Force was arrested for drunken driving earlier this month in Spanaway, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Sheri Badger was seen driving 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on state Route 7 near Tule Lake Road at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 9, Trooper Johnny Alexander told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Troopers pulled her over, gave her a breath test and determined she had been driving drunk. She was released to a friend, who drove her home, Alexander said.

Badger was cooperative when pulled over. The results of the breath test were not released pending the filing of charges in the case, Alexander said.

The Tacoma/Pierce County DUI Task Force was created in 1983. It organizes anti-DUI education and enforcement programs.
