Playing Tourist

Went out with the family over the weekend and played tourist in my own town for a couple days.

One of the most fun things we did was go on The Spirit of Washington train.

It is a collection of train cars built in the 30's and 50's, modernized for safety and pulled by a modernized 50's era diesel/electric engine.

During the week, the train does speicalized dinners and makes a stopover at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Coulumbia Winery.

I'm not a wine driker and the price is usually out of my range, but the in-laws wanted to try it out, so we got ourselves signed up for the Sunday Brunch ride. Also, since my step-dad is out hunting, I called my mom and invited her along. She, of course, was thrilled.

Let me just say now, all three selections for the brunch main course were ordered in my group and all were excellent. The desserts selections were even better.

If you get a chance to visit the Seattle area, put this on your list of things to do.

And for your viewing pleasure I got a pic of the Analog Wife, the Analog Mother-in-Law and the Analog Mom standing in front of the train in the rain. But not in Spain.
